Auburn opponent early scouting report: Tennessee

Some highlights.

Lists Colton Jumper as a meaningful departure.

Basically says a loss to us is inexcusable.

Makes it seem like JG is our only option at QB.

My take: could be a dangerous game for AU. However it's coming off their bye week.

It does Note our Murders row of games starting with Georgia.

How many Vol Fans you think make it down for the Auburn game? I remember when we played at Ole Miss last time and seemed like we filled up about half the stadium. Will it be the same for Auburn? It's close to Atlanta and I would think there are a lot more Vol fans than there are Auburn.

You never know what you get with a Malzahn coached team. One day they curbstomp Georgia and then they'll throw in the towel against an AAC opponent.

If we make some big plays and intimidate them, we have a darn good chance at pulling off an upset, especially without one of their biggest playmakers.

They are replacing 4 of 5 offensive line, starting running back and 3 starting WR's since 2 got hurt during spring ball.

Game is very winnable now!

Go Vols!

Auburn will be 10-2 at the worst so they can afford to be arrogant which would make a victory over them that much sweeter:cool:

Based on What? Do your homework before posting numbers. They replace 4 of 5 offensive lineman, starting RB and 3 wr's, 2 got hurt in spring ball on a team that couldn't score against good defenses last yr. already much less losing all that.

Auburn 8-4 team IMHO with a suspect coaching staff! GM equal CBJ! GM is basically an 8-4 coach. Check his record.

2013 12-2 (took over GC team)
2014 8-5
2015 7-6
2016 8-5
2017 10-4
= 45-21

Interesting read.
They were nice and only called the offensive line a "patchwork".

But I can also see that as early as it is, the writer seemed to gloss over Tennessee.
