It's like a drunk fashion designer got hold of some old Cincinatti Bengals jerseys.

EDIT: Wait a minute . . . this explains it.

The new uniforms were designed by Styles Inc., a New York based design firm. "We've designed clothes for Madonna, costumes for the Broadway Musical Cats; and many more," said John Curry president of Styles Inc. "But this was the first time we have been asked to design a college football uniform. We were really excited to take on the challenge."

I strongly suspect a joke. If not, what are they thinking?
