Congrats to Steven Pearl on doing something his daddy never did winning the NIT lol and congrats on finishing in 69th place

His dad did win the NIT everyone likes though.

Actually not sure it's even 69th place anymore, teams opt out of the NIT now and some got to the CBC. It's more like winning the Pop Tarts Bowl; minus getting to kill and eat a giant pop tart.

Bruce Pearl never won the NIT.

I can't criticize it. They played in the tournament they could play in due to a regular season that was pretty rough and made the most of it. It would be strange seeing two Final Four banners from his dad and then an NIT banner from Steven. Other than that,a salvaged season by Steven.
