I'll never hire that tree service. Screw Auburn, their trees, and their redneck fans.

Isn't that what those hippie Cal fans do for fun?

I think you're right on that one. I remember when we played Cal a few years ago at their place and some of those type people were living in the trees on campus to keep them from getting cut down.

Terrible analogy, but I remember in the late 70's when the first "gasoline crisis" hit (price went from about 50 cents/gallon to a dollar), there were a couple of cute songs that came out at the time. One was "Bomb Bomb Bomb, Bomb Bomb Iran" (yep - to the Beach Boys' tune) and a renegade song out of Texas called "Drive 75 and Freeze a Yankee Alive".

But on a serious side, I was born in Knoxville, went to UT as a Neyland Scholar and still bleed orange at my advanced age. I love the rivalries we have, but something is wrong when we don't respect the other schools and their traditions. The Vol Navy, the "Grove" at Ole Miss, rolling Toomer's Corner, the desire to honor ugly dogs at Georgia, the right use an Alabama degree as a Handicapped Parking permit in any SEC state - all of the great traditions make the SEC special and should be honored - even if you don't like them.

My best to all.

Go Vols!

yea you would think they would definitely want to help with them being the liberal, tree hugging type. But like most liberals they talk a good game but do not do anything to back it up.
