5* forward Kevon Looney will be announcing his decision on Halloween. He is very quiet and keeps things as close to the vest as just about any recruit in recent years so it's hard to get a solid read on him. However, the VQ guys along with many national analysts have said repeatedly that Tennessee is definitely in the mix, with Duke thought to be the other team in a 2 horse race.

This guy would be a huge get. He's a big talent that would fill a need for next year's class. Most of the experts consider it more or less a toss up between us and Duke with Michigan State in the mix too.

Cuonzo's recruiting has been impressive considering he's not been to the big dance yet. He shoould break through this year.

I would say his recruiting has been great on his top guys. It's his 2nd tier guys that have really hurt him. A number of those turned out to more like 4th tier

Very serious player, nobody has any solid info on Looney. He's never named a leader, says the same thing about each school, and does very few interviews. Most think Duke has a slight lead, but is that solely because they're Duke?

We'll find out.

If Cuonzo gets this guy that is three 5* guys in three years. It seems like this staff sets their sights on one big player each year and they get 'em. I really like our chances in this one.

I think Tennessee has a solid chance but I'm not going to pretend like I know what's going to happen.

I can tell you for sure that Tennessee thinks they are still in it. Not that they lead or anything, but that they are certainly still involved and a factor.

He better break through. I'm a Cuonzo fan, but barring a couple major injuries, there's no reason why he shouldn't contend for the SEC Championsip, make the dance and go a couple or 3 rounds deep.
