Attendance next weekend

I've heard from multiple people around Knoxville that they don't want to go spend a lot of money watching us play a weak team the week before OK at home. I think there will be a lot of scalped tickets. I'd guess 5000 empty seats. I will be there with my grandfather. Go Vols!

I'll be disappointed if it's not full on Saturday. What are your thoughts on attendance?

I agree OP. I'm bringing 4 Vols with me. There's no reason we can't sell out a 67k seat stadium in middle Tennessee. Need to show our support for the young men putting in the work and get this season started right.

The ticket prices in Nashville are expensive...a particularly bad deal for the students......as I recall?

except on defense They are. Actually they are garbage on defense. And if they cant get off the field then who cares how good their offense is in the MAC?
I don't give a rat's ass personally, just trying to temper the folks not giving any respect to the opponent. Won't hear the coaching staff saying all that stuff.

any ideas what the scalped tickets will bring on gameday?

I expect the scalping market to be over face value.

I don't see very many people that bought tickets deciding not to go unless it rains. That with a lot of people trying to save money by buying on the street means way more buyers than sellers IMO.

That is why I am buying my tickets tomorrow thru the ticket office to avoid long lines in Saturday.
