What affect if any do you guys think that today's hike in gas prices, and gas shortages will have on the attendance and ticket prices for tommorrows game? I know a lot of season tickets holder and others drive in from Chatt. or Nashville. With it being such a weak opponent, I think a few people might choose to stay home for this one.

I can't imagine that having to pay an extra $20 for gas is going to dissuade anybody from attending a game that they already have a ticket for. It's not like people are driving in from Arizona.

I'm just throwing out numbers. I don't know. I know the announced attendance at non-conf. games is usually a little on the high side.

I say we break, and look like we break 100,000. A lot of people don't want to pass up a chance to boo Phil and Co. on their first game after the debacle in Pasadena

Noon kickoff + 91 degree heat + crappy opponent + last Monday = cheap tickets and plenty of them. I'll be shocked if there aren't noticable seats empty.

I hope no one boo's. Players can't tell a Fulmer boo from a team boo.

Wonder what Tennessee is going to do with all those $50 tickets when the Strip has them for $10.

I think it will have an impact on those fans driving in. In Chattanooga, some stations are limiting 10 gallons, some stations have closed down their pumps or are out. What are you guys seeing in other areas?

it's the same thing here in Morristown. Numerous stations are completely out. Some stations let you get how much you want and some limit you to 10 gallons

Gas here was going for $ 7.89 a gallon, and you could only buy it in two gallon increments.
