Attacks on Pruitt’s character are not fair

Since it’s been looking like he might our guy the last few days, I’ve been scrounging around on different schools web sites to see what people think of him.
The only real negative that I’ve seen is a rumored “eye for the ladies “. But, I’ve seen no proof that this has been a problem in his life.
Has his wife accused him of adultery?
Are there any accusations of sexual impropriety?
No, none that I’ve found.
People need to be very careful when they throw these types of character things out there.
Phil Fulmer is a good man.
I bet he has addressed this subject with Pruitt.
We already had to deal with this type of issue recently with Kiffin. So, I just hope that it is all unfounded and that Pruitt (should he be our choice) starts with a clean slate and no mean spirited whispers by us. We have our rivals who will love to do that kind of thing.
If Pruitt is our choice, I give him my full support. Go Vols!

I could care less. Hire whoever phil, you got my support. I have a life and Phil gets paid to make decisions. I’ll show up and watch.

There were issues with him during Richt's last year at UGA...you have to question how personalities would mesh with people thrown together.

Why make a thread about something that you don't know if it is true or not.

Tennessee needs a coach..... the expectations were set too high.
Most coaches are a let down from the dream wish list.

Out of what Fulmer was choosing from Pruitt I was the best choice....

No need in making up more stuff based on little information on another coach.

He's bringing his own guys to the hill. This will be the best and brightest coaching staff at UT in 20 years!

Because it IS out there on web sites, radio shows, etc.
It’s way too easy to throw around without proof.
And, I’d like to gird Vol fans like you that haven’t heard this on what to expect from our rivals if he’s named Coach.
Proof?

Let’s say he’s here for a year and saban has a heart attack. Back to Alabama? He is a native. His heart is Alabama.

The only negative I ever heard was that he wanted to physically beat Schottensheisenhowsen's arse after the TN -UGA game in 2015.

That, and he is Facebook best friends with DeVinner.....

A couple of weeks ago when I posted about Pruitt, my post got blew up with "huge distraction in locker room," "players dislike him," "don't get along well with other coaches," "not really coaching.....simply managing Saban's system," "not qualified to coach at UT" to name a few.

Additionally, Pruitt's resume is far, far, far superior in comparison to Martin's.

I can see why some Coaches do not won't to come to Tennessee...some of our fans are the most ignorant fans on earth. What do they want...to bring General Neyland from the grave? No coach is good enough for some of them!:confused:
