This team was lucky to win this game with the poor perimeter shooting that has plagued this team for the past two years. They went 5-21 and I honestly don't care about the last two minutes of regulation. If they just kept putting the ball in the paint this game would not have went into overtime. Just my opinion.

the sad part is they won't realize if they get it in (a) they have a mismatch and (b) when it comes back out, the shooting percentage would increase dramatically.

So why not just post this in the game thread. Why does this need to be a separate thread. We won. So you need something else to b**ch about. Typical stuff.

Makes the win even better. Imagine if we play like that on Friday and shoot a better 3 point percentage. The good thing is a win goes by the score board and not the 3 point percentage.

Exactly. We played pretty poorly and still beat a good team, that wasn't close to a perfect game from our side.

When an opponent with fornt line averaging nearly 7' tall is packing in a zone defense, feeding the post is not always an option in 35 seconds. Add to that their semi full court pressure, and UT wasn't into their half court sets till 20-25 seconds on the shot clock.

We all agree this team perfoms best when the ball flows through Stokes - its just unrealistic to think he can touch it every time against every team.
