We didn't lose to Appie St. today. Thats about the only good thing I can say. Oh, IF he stays healthy, Ainge will probably have the greatest statistical year of any Tennessee qb. But he might only win 8 games if we don't learn how to tackle. How did our D play that bad

Clearly there could have been more catastrophic results tonight, but what did transpire was pretty rough, especially for Fulmer & Co.

Chavis has lost his touch, the past few years it looks like a down hill slide. i was really disappointed in the D. while we don't have a killer reciever, our O looked pretty good.

I gotta give it up to Ainge. He led a mediocre offense to 31 points. It should've been enough. Football has gotten so specialized and the spread offense has changed the game so much I don't think Fulmer can keep up. The kicking rule change will just further expose the fact that he can not adapt. Florida will beat the crap out of us unless the offense scores 35+ points. Even then I dont think they can make up for the complete lack of tackling.

You're probably right. That was actually the thought that led me to create this thread. At least we scheduled a decent team to play like that against.

if we played app state today, we would have probably put up 60+ with our offense and probably given up around 30 or so like michigan did.
