At Age 34

I know Lane is getting a bunch of crap for being young and inexperienced. Just wanted to point out where the two top coaches in the SEC were at age 34 as compared to Kiffin

Saban was the DB coach on a 6-6 MSU team that lost in the Cherry Bowl to Army.

Meyer was the WR coach for a ND squad that went 5-7.

Lane has a ring as an assitant coach, was the OC in a national title game where he team score 40+ points and has 1.5 seasons as an NFL HC. He is definetly a high risk/high reward hire but he is much more accomplished than he gets credit for.
