Lol silly.

But the ****ty sauce does seem to take away from how good the shells actually are

I will not be a smartass.

Not all "jarred" sauces suck. Ragu does imo. Classico is a good one but, whatever you use, get a basic and add what you want to it including red wine, fresh tomatoes and garlic, cover and simmer at least two hours.

What are the shells stuffed with? An Alfredo is pretty easy to make homemade and will go with almost any stuffing.

If you want to make a really good Mac and Chee....nevermind.

You're gonna want to start with a clean prep area. You'll need some dry yeast (active), flour and some olive oil and a 750ml of Stolichnaya.

RV made flattened chicken rolled around proscuitto, provolone and basil. Pan seared then finished in the oven, with oven roasted cauliflower and brocolli. On a bed of her homemade pasta with tomato cream sauce. My lunch the rest of the week too! Yum!

Squid isn't bad.

Get them whole, clean the tubes and slice them length wise instead of "rings". Marinate them in olive oil and fresh garlic or Wishbone Italian Dressing, and grill them. Unreal and cheap.

Sounds really good that way.:good!:

Just something different than eating fried breading with some rubber squid mixed in.

I'm making it this weekend for pre-thanksgiving with our out if town family. Homemade cheese sauce, crumbled up cornbread on top

I have been defeated and now surrender to the enemy that calls itself Mac and Chez.

You never had Granny's macaroni and cheese?

I'd give just about anything to have my great-grandmother's mac-n-cheese or chicken and dumplings just one more time. I can make them using her recipe, but it just isn't the same. I miss her so much.

Is "Granny's" a brand, or are you asking me if I ever had "your" Granny's Mac& Chez? guess it doesn't matter, no would be the answer to both. :p

Yes, I'm asking if you ever had my Granny's (us kids had to call her Nanny, we weren't allowed to call her Granny) macaroni and cheese. It was comfort food personified. Cheese, eggs, flour, milk, pasta, etc. I can literally make myself cry thinking about the fact I'll never be able to have it again.

i dont even attempt to make my grannys mac and cheese, I know its a doomed mission lol, but granny did make sure my mom, sister, and I all know how to make her dumplins. Her osteo no longer allows her to stand and roll out the dough, pick the chicken, etc. so we do all that for our holiday meals while she supervises ( and Lord that woman is bossy!!!!!). Behr, theres a local grocery store running crab legs on 2 day sale for 4.99 lb. Whats your fave way too cook the? I think I read youre a huge king crab fan, but they seem a little harder to get hold of round here lol

Steamed.

4.99 is a pretty good price for Snow, just make sure they are the "Red" Alaskan and not Russian "brown".
