Ask Behr anything about anything not related to food

Yea, anytime I go in a convenience store and see them, I get one.. or two.

I've got a recipe for a make from scratch blueberry pie that will cause multiple culinary orgasms, and a substitution recipe that's simple and still good enough to fool most and its awesome.

I don't make desserts often because I'm afraid of eating them and gaining weight, but that hasn't seemed to matter. Hmmmm.

When I was a kid my mom used to make those Jello brand cheesecakes in a box and I loved those.

I make a good caramel pie which I learned from O'Charley's 100 years ago.
Since I got sick I lost a helluva lotta weight and I need to gain some back. So........

I feel hungry during lunchtime but feel nauseous and not hungry in the late afternoon and nighttime. 😢
My eating is still on night shift mode. I can't hardly eat during normal dinner time. In the morning, and like right now is when I'm used to eating. Spent years on that schedule, probably take a bit longer to get used to eating normal.

likely Metformin curbs appetite -- its also used as a weight loss drug
Got an immunotherapy infusion yesterday and they always do a lab with my blood. When I first found out about the diabetes my glucose was 275. Started taking one Metformin a day and it went down for a little while but started rising again. Doctor said to start taking it twice a day and the lab yesterday showed the glucose was 126. That’s encouraging.

Sorry, just seeing this. What is your normal routine in eating and what is your go to (when it’s not worth the the effort and rely on the microwave)? Everyone has a routine in their habits, eating, waking up, brushing their teeth, etc. I just worry about you, and believe it or not, can help.
