As if the UF game won't be stressful enough.. My seats are in the Gator area

My old roomie from Reese Hall, Fall quarter, 1975, doesn't get to Knoxville often. He asked me if I wanted to sit with him if he found two tickets for a good price.

The price was good, the tickets are two rows below the jumbotron, in the middle of one of the Gator sections.

God I hope we don't give them anything to get excited about. It's gonna add an extra dimension to this game.

I'll be in orange. Look for me when you look at the jumbotron.

Can you help me out here: it has section A as visitor but also has section A,F as needing a $500 donation. Which is it for section A?

Click the link rather than look at the embedded picture. It scales up to full size. Visitors section is dark green (I think that's the color, my laptop isn't so bright). The $500 donation seats in section A are above the transfer aisle and are UT season tickets. Visitors are below the aisle. Yes, some of the vistors get pretty good seats. Also, when they moved the visitors to the east sidelines, SEC mandates the first couple of rows behind the visitors bench be visitor seating. At the time, this displaced some season ticket holders. Hope that helps.

Hard to say. I'd say most likely they sold their allotment, so (except for my seats) there should be a fair amount. Usually you can see random Gator fans scattered in about every section.

I hope the folks around me aren't obnoxious. Maybe the 3:30 kickoff time will mean they aren't saturated in alcohol - which brings out the best in some people.

Once, I was under the impression that a photocopy of the barcode was what you needed. I didn't go and scanned in a ticket and emailed to my son. It didn't work.

So I called the ticket office earlier this week. If you want to transfer a ticket, you have to call them, and they reissue it for you and it a) invalidates the original ticket and b) (i think) they email the reissue with a link to print the tickets, which gives it a new bar code. They do this doing normal office hours up until closing time on Friday.

Since my old roomie secured these tickets, I can't vouch for b) above.

Yikes.. Good luck over there. I'm in LL. I have to turn around and look up to see the Jumbotron.

We really gotta shut them up. VT student section was going wild in the first quarter at Bristol. It woulda been rough sitting there.
