OMG for the last time KENTUCKY DIDNT STEAL ANY RECRUITS FROM US.One of the Wade boys wanted to play QB,we respectfully told him it ain't gonna happen.Kentucky offered him the chance at Qb and the rest is history.Would u rather have Heupel lie and tell them what they want to hear, get em on campus and they turn into sour grapes and leave the program in 12 months?I'd love to have had the Wade twins but it is what It is but this Kentucky is raping us narrative is insane.Their 9-3 and gonna get a few recuits here and there but I have full faith anyone we really want head2head with Kentucky will get.
So you’re saying it isn’t rape because we consented?

I don’t blame the current coaching staff because they are basically just getting established with in state coaches. I will say we have a huge problem in Middle Tennessee. These kids have no allegiance to the University of Tennessee in many cases. Alabama Auburn Georgia Kentucky and Arkansas and now Ole Miss are all work in the mid state very hard. It’s sort of a no man’s land of late. I can remember in the 90s it would’ve been impossible to think of how to state schools taking any player the University of Tennessee wanted. We have got to get back to dominating this state. Who needs to be more activity by the University in the Midstate area we need to be playing more games ball football and basketball in the Midstate area.

What I think is stupid is your post!!!!!! How many mistakes have you ever made? Grow up and take you vile elsewhere. You're a blight on the fan base.

It's one thing if the kids were in talks with Bama, Georgia, and other top programs and we were late to the party. Which happens to be the case for some of the in state recruits.

But what pisses me off is that Kentucky got 3 of our top 15 recruits while we only got 1. That's shameful to me regardless of the circumstances. I hope we make those kids eat crow the next 4 years.

We've sucked for so long that I don't blame top recruits wanting to go somewhere especially if they didn't grow up fans.

I have been surprised Stoops didn't get an offer to go somewhere. I was hoping he would move on
Why, Stoops got it made, deliver slightly better than .500 seasons on a regular basis and no problem. Only moderate expectations from the fan base. He is golden. Safest seat in the league right now

The staff wasn't in place until this February. That's 10 months ago. Great job of building relationships and establishing a culture and we are currently in the top15 for '22. '23 cycle will be a better year because the staff is mending fences. '24 cycle will be an even playing field with this staff and everyone elses staff. I think our staff will hold their own if they can stay together and maintain continuity.

Before the pandemic, 100 people per day were moving to Nashville from out of state. These people do not have an allegiance to UT.
