Wrong. The more experience, the better the OL play. Dobbs is a big part but the line is also improving on its own.

The combination of Josh Dobbs playing well and Gilliam coming back from his injury has allowed this o-line to at least be adequate. Im not sure Gilliams return is getting the credit it deserves.

He held it too long at times, but much of our Oline play was basically playing matador. He had zero time

Cute! So they were starting to believe the lies we were all putting out there about them? Give me a damn break. They sucked, so did Worley. I blame the coaches just as much. It's part scheme, part lack of talent. Dobbs gives them another dimension. The coaches have, in an indirect way, said they've finally started running different things/scheme. Dobbs has played two games. Let's se what happens.

I'm sick of people acting like these are precious little league 7 year old football players. They play major division 1 college football. They sucked. Period. Are they playing better? Yes. At least for now.

Still do not believe in this line. Most of Dobbs yards came from QB scrambles or QB draws. Neither require good blocking. In fact, a draw plays requires the DL to penetrate (something we are very good at) and scrambles are a result of bad OL and the defense being caught in bad positions.

That being said, the OL has shown that there may be potential moving into next year. But do you trust them on a 4th and 1 to get a push? Not yet.

Its amazing how a good QB can MAKE A OL LOOK GOOD. We ran the ball 80 percent of the time with Worley at QB, he was not a threat to run, we wasted first down plays, nearly every time, couldn't never really understand the play calling behind that, it was like second and 8 or 9 nearly every time we ran the ball on first down with Worley, maybe we learn from that if we don't have the threat of the run from the QB, THIS KIND OF offence WONT WORK.

They are winning one on one matchups now. That isn't because of Dobbs.

Combination of everything coming together. Experience can't be crapped on. Gilliam coming back and adding his heart. Dobbs getting everyone excited. The line looks like they are playing harder now. I'm not saying they weren't trying earlier, but they are giving that extra effort with hope that Dobbs can do something. Wide receivers are harder to cover, because Hurd and Dobbs will kill you unless you sacrifice some coverage on the back end. It's a nice feeling. Why can't we just be happy that everything is falling into place, instead of this bashing of players, coaches, effort, talent, etc? Quality Football is a tough recipe to get right, especially in the SEC.

Imo I don't think that is correct. Worley has a quicker release. Dobbs shot puts the throws coming from a lower ball position. I think Worley would have done better with a more experienced line and running game. If we would have had just a middle of the sec rated oline, I think Dobbs would still be red shirting and we would still be bowling. We would also have Dobbs for 3 more years, which would have been an added bonus. I do think Dobbs was the missing element that team 118 needed. I'm not faulting worley, but with a young back, very young line, etc. Dobbs gives us more added threats, which is what our team needed at this time.
