Alot of people have attempted to give you insight as to what reasons it could be but you continue to ask the same question over and over again. CLK will run an offense much like USC where you have a QB in the pocket who can throw over the tall linemen and have enough mobility to scramble and get downfield if needed to. Matt Leinart - 6'5", Mark Sanchez 6'3", Matt Cassell 6'4" The QB has to have a strong arm and enough height and those are 2 things that Boyd does not have in the eyes of Kiffin. If this answer does not suffice your needs perhaps send the man an email and see if he answers you.
I get the height issue to a point. Boyd is listed at 6'1" so that means he's more like 6'. Mark Sanchez is listed at 6' 3" and is more like 6' 2". I'm sitting here looking at my handy dandy trusty ruler and this is 2" exactly:
[lllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll] Your trying to convince me that 2" is why Boyd does not fit the system. You state that Boyd does not have the arm strength, based on what? All the scouts list arm strength as one of his attributes.
By the way you stated that you some how knew what was in Kiffin's eye's, so now your psychic?
By the way here is his profile on scout.com http://maryland.scout.com/a.z?s=174&p=8&c=1&nid=3449374
