Went to school at Arkansas State(although didn't graduate from there), now living in TENN. Glad to see these two teams could work out a time slot to play one another.

I'm wondering how excited you are about this Big game ? Should be a good one, although I will be a little torn.

Welcome aboard the Volnation. However, don't be too disappointed when the Indians (that mascot may soon be outlawed) get blown out by the Vols. I'm sure we will all still be friends afterwards. By the way, does ASU have an alternate mascot name in mind?

Well, I don't think they have officially decided to change and probably won't until they are forced to do it. As of the last few years, they have faded out the "Injun Joe" mascot and have created a character as the mascot named "Red". Looks like something you would see at disney world.

Don't get me wrong, I have no problem with ASU's mascot, I'm just talkin' about the NCAA's ignorant ban of Indian mascots.I live in the Memphis area and am familiar with the Indians. They have a good program and am looking forward to the game with y'all.

Understood. This will be the Indians BIGGEST game of the year, while it is the Vols weakest. I understand that. I'm just excited to be able to kill two birds in one stone with this game.

I'm also excited about traveling to Neyland in Nov for the Arkansas game as well. I see that you are in Cordova. That is where I live too.

And I'll be there! My first game at Neyland Stadium. I am psyched. 36 years old and have not made it to Knoxville yet. Almost came a few times over the past two years, but working and going to law school at night tends to foul things up. BUT, I shall be there against Ark. State.

GO VOLS!

Is T.C. Jennings your QB? I know he goes to ASU, he sure was great at Ravenwood high school in Brentwood. He lead Ravenwood to their 1st 5A state title in 2005 against Oak Ridge, and was a Mr. Football finalist.

GO RAVENWOOD RAPTORS!!!

I have actually heard that to be true from Arky relatives.....Hogs (F.B.) feels it as a lose-lose situation.

Anyway, I'm jazzed about A-State playing in Knoxville. At least the Vols are giving the them a chance (and a nice paycheck).

This could very well be an upset ! :dance2:
