I can most likely make it to at least the Arkansas State or Southern Miss game so I'm hoping at least one will be a nite game.

Typically they decide based on tv coverage. I would say Southern Miss has a better shot of making it on ESPN2. ASU, not so much.

I saw the other day that the ESPN schedule was released, we weren't on it as of it. That can still change

that ESPN schedule is tentative, that can and probably will change. The Arkansas St. game will most likely not be a night game, Southern Miss very well could be. I know last year when we played Air Force, that was not a TV game, and that game started at night. You really never can tell until closer to the season.

Marshall was at night because it was delayed about 2.5 hours due to thunderstorms.

I would bet that Arkansas State will be at 1230.

marshall game was scheduled to start at 4pm but didn't start until after 5:30 because of rain...

is Arkansas St. homecoming this year? if it is homecoming, they won't start it until 4 at the earliest... they like starting those homecoming games later in the day.

The Arkansas St. Game Will Be A $29.99 ppv Game. Count On It ! Customers who subscribe to ESPN gameplan will not see this because it will be blacked out in the surrounding Tennessee area.

They got to have it at night. Those September day games are brutal. I remember a day game vs. UNLV it was like 90 and my feet were burnt minus the "v" mark from my flip-flop.

Its brutal for pregaming. Going out on Friday night til 3 then waking up at 9 to start drinking again before staying out all night again after a win is just not ideal. This is the toll we as fans must endure.

The 2005 UAB game was one of the worst games I've seen in Neyland. It was about 100 degrees and the only exciting play was a Justin Harrell INT. It also left me with a sick feeling about the future of that season.

I agree. It's tough enough for the people who live around Knoxville, but some people travel a pretty good distance to go see the Vols and have to get up at the buttcrack of dawn. Ridiculous..
