Both Donald Trump and the Republican leaders of the State Senate in Arizona who commissioned the "Cyber Ninjas" audit of the Maricopa County results from the 2020 Presidential General Election had previously denied that the $1 million donation from an account controlled by former Trump attorney, Cleta Mitchell, had come from a Trump Political Action Committee.

No surprise here ... but they were lying. Trump did make the donation, and in doing so, made himself the single largest benefactor towards the Cyber Ninjas audit - which their CEO, Doug Logan, had purported to be an independent review.
