foster could have been a really good back for us if he would have been developed properly after his freshman year.

It's got more to do with the offensive line not being able to run block than it does with the running backs. And YES i would still rather have Creer. The one thing that Foster does better than the other backs is block.

He's also a much, much better receiver.

To all of you so called "Football Experts" . You wanted Hardesty and Creer so bad but neither one has really done a lot. Foster needs the ball at least 20 times a game. Last night he had only 6 carries for 21 yds. He had a 9 yd run and a 8 yd run. Other times he carried it was on 3rd and 1 or second and short so big yardage isnt expected. So to everyone who doesnt like FOSTER.....Get off his back, he wouldnt have only been 600 and something yds away from record at beggining of the season if he wasnt a good back.GO VOLS AND GO FOSTER.... "Against All Odds"

Wrong. He's only close because of the way our program has gone as of recent. Past top backs at UT did not get 4 years to play RB for us. Henry waited behind Jamal. Jamal left early. Foster had no one to wait behind, and he was not good enough to leave early. (I know he would have been drafted higher last year than this year, but he still was not projected as high last year as you typically want in order to leave early.)
