Arena Tavern Pep Rally?

I live right down the road from Arena Tavern, right next to the Gwinnett Arena. Right smack in Bulldog country. Last year I was driving by and I saw a peculiar amount of orange in the parking lot :)

I had no idea that my local bar was essentially the hub for Lady Vol fans during the tournament. Needless to say I turned in immediately to see what was going on! I spent some part of every day that weekend at the Arena Tavern because it felt so amazing to be in a bar with almost all Vol fans. It was like being in Knoxville lol. It was great meeting you folks and having the pep rally right out in the parking lot of my home bar was just a really cool experience!

Is there a plan to do the same this year? If so we should use this space as a role call of sorts for those that will be attending :)

Pep rally at 9:30 tomorrow morning at Arena Tavern. Drink and food specials they said. Hope the weather is better than today. Cold, wet and nasty. The worst weather I can remember for a tourney. We have had cold at times and rain at others but this tourney got both.

:( Dang. I'll be working this go around then. Hope everyone has a good time and that the rain stops soon! Maybe I will go by there Saturday night and see if any Vols are around after the game.

9:30 is too damn early for any PEP rally, I don't care whose it is!
