I am a Vol fan in Fla. and because of this when I wear the orange I have plenty of people come up to me and say Im from Tenn and they give me the town they are from. Then, they say where are you from, at this point I just look at the ground and say Fla. I hate this feeling, because I wish I was from Tenn but I am from a little redneck town called Palatka Fla. which by the way is more redneck than any Tenn. town so dont let Fla. fans fool you. Tenn. is a beautiful state compared to Fla., and its not even close. I thought I would let you guys know how good ya have it in Tenn.

Dad was born and raised in Knoxville. He was in army for 26 yrs so we moved around alot. Only extended time I spend in Tennessee was during my time at UT. So, I have always have long answer to why I studied at and like Tennessee.

Born on an air force base in rapid city, SD, but parents are from memphis and chattanooga. we moved back to memphis when i was about a year old, and then moved to desoto county, MS when i was about ten. both parents went to UTK, as did my aunt and uncle...and i also graduated from there as well.

so while technically not born in TN, i spent years 2 thru 23 basically in memphis or knoxivlle.

I was born in Knoxville but raised in the center of 'Bama.
Being born Knoxville is the (I think) only reason why my family puts up with me being a Vol fan.

Nothing is gonna make me change my mind.

Born in Mud Lick, Kentucky--HUGE points for anyone that can name me the most famous person from there

lived there all of 2 months--then moved to Dyersburg.

Have since lived in Chattanooga, Sparta, Cookeville, and Cumberland Furnace.

I think I'd take the Furnace over the Eastern Shore.

I have no idea who is from mud lick, ky, but I wanna know now. I love the Eastern Shore, I think it's beautiful. However, I would absolutely dread living there. Not a whole lot going on over there, huh?
