It’s seems coach Pruitt has two agendas. His first agenda is to find players that fit his system will play hard, even if they are underdeveloped year 1-2 players. Here in his second year he is still not putting winning as a top priority.

As a fan this is frustrating, we have been waiting for wins for so long. What makes it worse, we don’t know if our coach is any good or not. Will he be Saben like, cover all the details and win at a high-level. Or will the little errors continue to eat us alive. At this rate we won’t know what kind of coach we have until next year.

Can he and his staff recruit the players we need. I would think this staff could get it done. How much progress do we need to show to recruit the D line we need?

It is a bit early to expect freshmen to play error free. I believe we will get better as the season progresses but so will the competition.

Looks like a wait till next year!

Tanking because our new Peyton Manning in highschool wants to just walk right into the starting job. That's the master plan. That ole familiar saying "Next year is our year".. Never heard that before add nausea.

I think Jeremy Pruitt wouldn't mind being fired and getting his buyout however I don't think Tennessee is trying to lose.

I dont think they are "trying" to lose, I just dont think they have the ability to win.

It that Pruitt knows a majority of our fanbase will blame everyone except him.

From what I've seen, Pruitt is a great coach, he is still weeding out some of the old lazy players.

I don't think it's a stretch to say he could easily be the next Saban if the fans give him time. The main thing I worry about with Pruitt is if Saban retires, they will come after him as a replacement. Either that or the NFL May come calling, I've heard his name tossed around as a possible replacement for Belichick.

Pruitt made some terrible decisions. He ate a timeout on 3rd and long with a young D that is mistake prone.

No way you go for it when Cimaglia is red hot and Guaranturdo (is that how you say it) is playing like hot garbage. Get the points!!
That’s on him.

We are handcuffed by our serious lack of a decent QB right now. I hate it when Bammer Greg Freckleboy is right all night. No idea if Pruitt sees that or not. He was better when he went by Guaran-tohn-o.

To answer your question OP, maybe. We are certainly lowering expectations one game at a time.

Next Year will be Worse, it will never get better with Pruitt as HC, or that's what I'm starting to beleive, Not Good

Recruiting is already suffering big time......There's just NO WAY OUT, Is There?
