Not having the backing of sports media elites for the last two decades pretty much spells out that Team 120 will continue to be questioned - and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS!

Like almost any championship team, nega-articles posted on a teams bulletin board are used to motivate and rally the troops, and I pray that the media continues to provide us with the fire to keep winning and, silencing the critics.

This year is eerily reminding me of 1998, which saw a last second field goal in the Carrier Dome and football placed on the ground by an Arkansas QB - which were both miracles in their own right, so yes, team 120 just "might also be" a team of Destiny. Go Vols!

We have a lot of talent, but it is not all coming together. Kind of like a sports car that needs a tune up. Something is missing. We SHOULD be more dominant than we are, but we are not. I don't know if it is preparation, play calling, over thinking, but something just ain't right. They pay CBJ the big bucks, so I hope he fixes it, whatever it is.

Man it sucks that we are 5-0 and leading the SEC East....doesn't it? :crazy:

Just imagine where we could be right now if Butch had already "fixed" everything. Keen observation. :loco:

I am happy that we are 5-0, I am just waxing about we should be playing better. There is room for improvement. The good thing is that we are not playing perfect ball yet, the bad thing is that we are not playing perfect ball yet.

This team has not played well and still 5-0. Watch out Clemson and Ohio state because when it clicks we will crush them. I'm hoping to play Bama again and beat them again and then go on to beat Clemson and Ohio state in the playoff and natty.

What's missing from this team? Three all-sec starters on defense. If we had them we would be crushing people right now. Huge props to shoop for what he and this defensive staff are doing right now

On point. Some here will shout you down for pointing out the obvious, but our glaring weakness thus far has been slow starts that then require digging out of a huge deficit.

The Vols will look frightening when they start to put together four quarters of solid football.

Let's wait and have this conversation after the 3rd Saturday in October. If we are still undefeated I'm all aboard the destiny express but until then I'm sticking with we are much improved and have benefited from some seriously good breaks our way.

ALL THREE of those guys were starting and involved in the Appy State game at home and just how much crushing was done in that game?

Bro, the guy has a good point. If we don't figure out some of our issues quickly this will not be a championship team.

Right now we have a ton of potential and an incredible will to win. We gotta stop spotting teams a couple touchdowns or more before we decide to start playing.

I don't remember the 98 team getting behind by so much so often. We keep doing this it will blow up on us. Like this week or next.
