Are us fans just kind of screwed on road games?

I know it's only Monday morning, but I've been vigorously searching for two tickets to UT-UGA game this Saturday. I cannot find 2 tickets. I can only find sets of 3 and 4's. Craigslist hasn't quit with the scammers neither lol. It would be an absolute shame considering Sanford Stadium is about 5 minutes from my doorstep. Anyone know if it was this hard to grab South Carolina Tickets?

Most tickets at SCAR were in groups of 4 also. They did have some in pairs but i think those sold pretty quickly

Your best bet is to hang outside the stadium as close to kickoff, maybe even after, and surely someone will have a couple extra tix for sale. Price will be high though because of limited supply. Good luck.

Tickets are in 4's just about everywhere. Occasionally you can find 2's in the aftermarkets, but they're at a premium. SC tickets weren't that big a deal since they didn't sell out in the first place. They were $90 in the upper deck and $110 in the lower level. I'm sure UGA and Alabama will cost an arm and a leg since their season ticket holders will gobble up most of the seats. I know a guy that went to UGA/Auburn and ended up paying $220/ticket. It's definitely not the year to try and go to a bunch of road games.

I was looking for Arkansas tickets last night, would have assumed it would have been as easy as SC since they didn't sell out. Nothing yet, but at least I still have plenty of time assuming the game still happens. I would expect the game against UGA would be much more difficult.

OP might be the only one who can pull this off easily. If he fails to secure a couple for his price, he can always head home and watch pretty much the whole game.

There are atleast tickets available to UGA and ARK. Looking down the road, Auburn shut out their own fans in favor of an all student ticket package. I have a home/away consecutive game streak that started in 2010. I am starting to worry about getting access to Auburn.

Find someone to buy the other 2 and offer them pregame festivities at your place or parking.

It’s because UGA forced tickets to be bought in blocks of 4 seats all together for the home games, couldn’t select just 2, etc. I believe they have to be listed that way as well on Stubhub and the other secondary markets.

Also all tickets are electronic just be aware of that there are no paper tickets, they were sent that way because of COVID just FYI
