Are the stars TOO aligned for the Gators?

Of course we want an SEC team in the NC game for the sake of our conference. I was just asking if that team is the gators, would you still root for them. Geeez dude

I wouldn't. I don't hate a team all year just to go for them in the National Championship Game. Same goes for Bama and Georgia.

Florida probably will win another title, but the thought of them winning 3 of 4 makes me nauseous.

With this schedule, I do not see many opponents that match up evenly with them, if any. Keep in mind that Florida's usual difficult opponents in the SEC and non-conference are down right now. UT is rebuilding and installing a new offense, LSU has declined some, UGA has Willie Martinez and FSU hasn't been significant since the beginning of this decade. Although I hope for a UF stumble somewhere during the season, on paper it seems doubtful...but that is why the games are played on the Saturday's in the fall.

BTW, I'm surprised that none of the resident gators have not chimed in by now.

You're right. There is no reason why they shouldn't go undefeated this year. I truly believe that if we decide that we are a running team this year, we will be more competitive than people give us credit but beating them is still a big stretch. LSU, Arkansas and Georgia are the only teams that I believe could measure up talent wise (players and/or coaches) but I with new quarterbacks, it is doubtful. If ever a team had a fairly clear, uncomplicated road to a National Championship, it would have to be Florida this year. I guess we'll see.

This thread is hilarious. If the Gators win another NC, its because everyone on their schedule is down this year. If they lose a game, you'll say it proves they were overrated.

Meanwhile, if UT wins a game or two it isn't supposed to, it means that last year's team was just a little unlucky. But if they lose one or two they were supposed to win, its only because the team is rebuilding.

No matter what happens, you will give the Gators no credit. And yet the Vols will either be back where they belong or simply still rebuilding.

All of the orange all over this this board, not to mention it's name, should've been a clue to you that you are on a Tennessee board.

Just like the other thread is hilarious where the UF fan implied Tebow played no role in UF’s 2006 NC.

Get over yourself. This will be a relatively weak SEC, as was last year's group. That clearly makes UF prohibitive favorite to make the title game and BCS title game. If the conference had the strength it did 5 years ago, the conversatio would be different.

I know you want to hear about UFs greatness and CUMs infallibility, but reality doesn't really fit and this is a vol board, so fornicate with yourself.

What's hilarious is your utter failure to have any kind of understanding of that thread. Are you always so confused?
