It just doesn't matter right now. He's got another season.. I doubt he is here past 2017. Maybe he does us all a favor and finds someone who would appreciate his Life championships and corny cliches much more than we do..

....when I read the thread title, I automatically assumed the rest of the question would read as "....also struggling with a crystal meth addiction.

The actual question is a good one, nonetheless.

This is just like the end of the Dooley regime.

I hope that everyone that jumped off the butch bandwagon stayed injury free

...the same ones still behind Coach Dooley after the 2011Kentucky loss?

No Dooley lost my support long before that. As for Butch, last night did it for me. It's not the loss either, it's the continued bone head coaching mistakes. I think at this point he has proven he isn't ready for sec and also proven he doesn't learn from mistakes. Let's thank him for making us better than under Dooley and wish him well.

Buyout of 10 million today or 7.5 million next year. I'd just take it on the chin now and fire him if he can't find a taker within a week. This recruiting class will end up a wreck. Next year will be worse with a dead man walking. Just do it now and try to not screw it up.

Not I.

I learned a lesson with Dooley. It is never wrong to criticize in an objective, factual, and fair manner. I argued like I did with Fulmer that Dooley should get his shot before we hammered him with criticism.

I was wrong.

Jones works harder than DD ever did. But in the end, he does not appear to be a championship caliber coach either. He has fatal flaws and does not appear to be equipped to fix them.

I'm with ButchNA. Unless our AD has a better plan, I support our current coach. Still appreciate where he brought us from.

You have more than redeemed yourself in the last 4 years. You've brought objective truth to the discussion since the moment Butch was hired and done so in a thoughtful, compelling way.

No. I was done with Dooley. Losing to Ky cause your team didn't want to be there wasn't what happened last night. As bad as it was, I think the players wanted to win just not as bad as Vandy. Vols made enough mistakes to keep Vandy in the game and finally win it.

Dooley never won anything. Butch has won some. He ****ed up this yr. he deserves one mulligan.

I don't expect miracles next yr but he does need to be in contention for the East.
