Are names like Davis and Leach a smokescreen?

For somebody like Muschamp, or Steele, or OU's offensive coordinator to be given the job. Make us think you have talked to and wanted some of the big names that are currently coaches but decided against it when in fact you wanted one of the coordinators the whole time?

I don't think it'd be wise to leak big names, only to turn around and surprise everyone by hiring a small name.

You don't leak Butch Davis, then go out and hire Kevin Wilson.

True. In the back of my mind I still think Brian Kelly really wants the job and Hammy is willing to give it to him.

i think if they were trying to "smokescreen" us, they'd say we're after a guy like muschamp or whomever, and then introduce someone like butch davis (God i hope not), or leach...

Thing is hamilton hasn't mentioned any name! I haven't seen a story that Quotes him in any why metioning names!

I hope you're right. I don't see Hamilton hiring a coordinator. I think he wants someone that has HC experience. Kiffen doesn't have much HC experience but he could assemble an awesome staff. I hope it's Kelly. If not then Kiffen.
