I was told by someone who works at TN National. I can't give a name because I wouldn't want him to get in trouble.

I understand. I can't wait to hear who it is we get. Hopefully the Chin or Kiffin. Davis would be my 3rd guy.

Was Gruden at the game Sat.?

I hope so, so maybe he can see these kids need some help. That was pathetic, a buddy of mine called and asked if I saw the score I said yes that it is half time 13 - 7 little did I know that was the final, a loss. Homecoming and Wyoming, man that is pitiful and I have never heard of an offense being so dad gome sorry, come on. They are making hard to live here in Bama with all these crazed fans but I wish we had something to be excited about.

Jon and wife already own a home in the K-ville area, NW I believe. They bought it within the last 12 months....

I think according to the records on the real estate assessment data the "home" is a small place on a farm. I would not read anything into this purchase in 2006. His wife is from the area and I'm sure they just bought it to have a place when they visit and as an investment.

That being said I would love to see Gruden here.

What about Jimmy Johnson. I know its been a while since he coached, but man could he coach. I think he would be a perfect fit. He has everything you need in a coach.....and teams pay a lot more now than they used to. Just a thought. He could bring in recruits like noone else and has the mindset and personality to bring this university back to a football greatness. Hes not too old and does not like to lose. He's been a college and pro coach and has won it all at both levels. I think we need to bring "old school coaching" back, and I believe he is the man for the job.

This is my first post and I hope yall don't consider it to be a crazy one. Well I did graduate from Ole Miss, but I have always bleed Orange. By the way, I have had season tickets to the Vols since the 70's.

LOL, nice first post!

Well I don't think this post is too far fetched....since everyone seems to think we could get Gruden or Cowher HaHa. Just thought it would be a nice new face to talk about.

no way for 2 reasons:

1. too old
2. I cant stand anyone who has ever been associated with the dallas cowboys

I hate the Boys also.....But you cant deny what he did for them as a team and organization. Brought them back to the elite.
