On #2, did Heupel even recruit him? He just doesn’t seem like the type of QB Heupel would recruit and I’m ok with that considering who we got in this class. I truly believe we got the better QB as well.

Yeah he had a Tennessee offer, but it was never a real chance because of the greatness of Peyton Manning. So he wasn't ever going to play here with that pressure on him .

Eli went to Ole Miss because then at least one of Archie's sons represented there in honor of their father. Plus...Cutcliffe.

I knew he had an offer at one point, but I thought it got pulled once Heupel got in.
