I thought you MAGA guys claimed to support winners?

Seems contradictory that you’d celebrate some of the biggest losers in history if that’s the case
Oh, they loves em some participation trophies if it's Confederate monuments.

I’m not a confederate type… they did lose the war, but the south held up comparatively
Union:

        • 224,580 died from diseases.
        • 30,192 died as prisoners of war.
    • Over 275,000 were wounded.
    • Approximately 15.5% of Union prisoners of war died in captivity.
Confederacy:
    • Estimated 258,000 deaths.
    • Causes of death included:
        • 94,000 killed in battle.
        • 164,000 died from diseases.

The north attacked the south. The south had that right per the constitution to succeed. Lincoln was a tyrant. He would have a Bernie Sanders or kamala type politician if we're alive today. It's sad that so many southern are so ignorant of southern history. All they can do is cry Jim crow and slavery.

There were both pro-union and southern in east Tennessee. I'm sure a globalist, socialist like you would proclaim the union side
One of my great-great uncles, from Tellico Plains, served in both armies. CSA until captured in 1863, then joined the Union Army in Cleveland, TN the same year.

I am also descended from the Fletcher family of Irwin County, Georgia. A genealogical book I have shows what a horrible effect the war had on the generation born and came of age during the conflict. Males were decimated.
