I made the comment weeks ago, he is the best player on our team, and was told no way he is the best player on a top 20 team. Guess what he IS the best player on a sweet 16 team

I’ve said the same thing and totally agree with you. No shade to ZZ at all but the media has hyped him up so much that it has diminished Santiago’s accomplishments. SANTI is the heart of this team and should’ve made just as many defensive teams as ZZ. They practically have identical defensive stats but Santi usually plays the other teams best backcourt player. If anyone watches our games they’d be amazed at how hard he plays on both ends. Thanks for everything SANTI!
