1. Leach is out. Bev and Haslam didn't approve. It was Currie's hail mary.
2. Currie was handcuffed after Schiano blew up in his face. Dead man walking.
3. A deal was struck...we'll make Phil the AD...passify the masses.
4. Phil still can't offer a coach that Haslam doesn't approve. See Doeren.

Why does everyone just assume that Leach is permanently out as a choice? I realize what Fulmer said in the press conference, but does that mean he cannot change his mind?

I don't recall Fulmer mentioning any coach by name at the press conference??

Yep. I mean look at Bev yesterday. She’s an weak idiot. How can anyone say she’s not 100% controlled by the powers that put her in this position.

God I wish Ergen would make them hire Leach. I don't think Leach is the best coach out there, but he's the best coach for us. Leach wouldn't give a flying $#@% what anyone says or thinks. We need that trait of total independence in our football coach so much right now.
