We were trying to come up with creative nicknames for this guy preseason. But to this point, unfortunately, he's almost more know for drops than tds. In fact, a least one of those drops went through his hands and was intercepted.
Time for "p will" to step up and become that monster we all know he can be. And what better time than against the home state team!

Much like Josh Smith early in his career, P. Williams just needs to learn. Every receiver has drops and I do not think Preston has had more than normal. He will come around.

I think we are looking for an A.J. Green or a Julio Jones type at WRU. Those guys don't "develop", but instead, they explode onto the scene. Until we get that type of guy, we'll be left wanting, so to speak.

I consider anything we get from him to be gravy. He's physically gifted but for some reason, it's not happening when the lights come on. Malone, Jennings and Byrd.....those are the guys we need to hang our hats on.

He's a sophomore who had a devastating knee injury his senior year in high school and who has earned rave reviews in practice in an offense that has not thrown the ball well except for against UF in the second half. It isn't like he's had a lot of opportunity to shine so far. He's going to be fine. All it takes is one show out game for Dobbs to be confident in Preston and for Preston to know he can do it in a game. Today could be the day (or he could have a breakout game in the next two). I'm guessing that we will finish the year with four to five good receivers and that will include Preston. Y'all need to chill out when a WR, OL, or any other player at any position does not immediately show that he will be a high NFL draft pick. There's plenty of guys who aren't on draft boards until their junior or senior year but are very good players as upperclassmen.

I really hate when you guess put APB in the thread titles, makes me think that the players are in trouble with the law or something
