APB out for Phillips and Taylor

The one I don't get is Austin Smith. He looked soo good last year at LB, we then switch him to DE where he will be buried in depth chart for a year or two if not his entire career!?!?

Trust in Shoop, he knows what he's doing

Smith has been banged up thru the first 4 games too. I'm not sure the exact injury but I seen it mentioned on here both in the practice threads & other threads.

That's why we've not seen much of him so far this season after seeing him play quite often last season. Let's hope he's healed enough now to play against GA. You're right too. I think he's better of being at LB & not DE. Thanks!

TB Hes been banged up since before fall camp.

He has a promising future at DE.
He won't play this year. They'll redshirt him i imagine.

Damn it BOT. I saw APB, and thought WTF? Did they rob a bank or something? Were we having a Bronco chase on I-40? Please, man, refrain from using police terms in threads with players names. Give me a freakin heart attack.

I Associated it with all-purpose back, which had me confused as well. I still don't know what (His Term) of APB means LOL.

Edit: Gotcha, now. Just wanna know what's going on with them.

Good problem to have when guys like Taylor and Phillips can't make it in the field. Barnett and vareen are studs. They'll get chances to relive them and play a few series but in the future it'll be their jobs to lose

Read an article in another thread where it had Barnett saying he wasn't going to come out of the game early in the second half. So that explains it (Since Vereen's back up is Kongbo. Barnett on one side and Vereen/Kongbo on the other). Both Phillips and Taylor have gotten good reps in the first three games, I imagine we'll see some of them at some point against UGA. I think Shoop will have something special planned for UGA's o-line/Eason.

I saw Taylor playing DE opposite of Barnett in 4th quarter when gators were at their 2 yard line. But I think he only played that one short series.

That was the beautiful thing @ the 2nd half. Every series, except when we went "prevent" was short. A thing of beauty.
