Well clearly Alabama should be #1; they did just hang 49 points on a top ten SEC opponent on the road. /s

No worse than 3rd.

Could be anywhere in the top 3 with that performance. No fluke Tennessee played Bama all game and had the lead for most of the game. Tennessee made costly mistakes but was still good enough to overcome them.

John Adams just said on Basillio that Tennessee should be #1 tomorrow. WOW...

We can argue strongly that we deserve #1, based on strength of schedule.

We have a realistic shot at #3, behind UGa and Ohio St.

In the worst of worlds, we're still no lower than #5, giving Clemson and Michigan the benefit of inertia.

I'm good with any of those, honestly, because (a) we'll be Top 5 for the first time since 2005, and (b) we'll have the opportunity to push up to either #1 or #2 when we beat UGa in a few weeks, having already beaten Kentucky like the little brother that they are.
