On paper, it looks like the Vols should win Saturday. Most Vol fans feel good about the game. A number of people in the media are picking us. The last I heard, Vegas has us winning. But there's something that just keeps gnawing away at my confidence.

In most of our games against the Gators over the last 16 or so years, Florida was the more physical team. Why do I think UT will be the more physical team this year?

Could the Packers--49ers game last Sunday be a foreshadowing of the Florida--Tenn game? Great quarterback, great passing game, okay defense of the Packers against a more physical SF team with a very good defense. The more physical team with the good defense won.

Anybody else admit to having doubts? What's gnawing at you?

Brodus is fairly accurate. He does well under 40 yards. Granted, he'd be kicking these field goals in a big game.

I do. But that's natural. I think it's that anybody feels better about having a strong running game than a strong passing game, and we're 70/30 passing. Passing attacks can be unsuccessful for too many reasons. QB gets bothered or sacked, misses a pass, throws a pick, the reciever doesn't catch, etc. When you're running more than anything else (Bama style) you either get the yards, don't get the yards, or fumble.

I think we are the best passing team in the SEC, but passing attacks always make me nervous. That's the only thing unsettling to me in this game. That and we haven't come from behind to win in a long long long time. The Gators did it last week.

Turnovers. Especially interceptions. Itd be nice to see Bray go into week 4 with zero INTs. (AND) 3rd and short situations where we need an establish run game.

No, I have no doubts. Why should you? We've run well enough and we've kicked well enough. In fact, the field goal issue only matters if you assume we don't blast right past the Gators, and I think we beat them by double digits. I'm feeling relaxed; why don't you guys try it too?

Same. I'm terrified of Bray throwing INTs--especially pick 6s.

I'm also really afraid they're going to stuff our run game, shut down the passing game, and force several early 3 and outs while building up a small lead.

Basically a repeat of the Georgia game last year. It would kill the excitement of the crowd and they could slowly grind out a low-scoring victory.

Only the most ignorant element of a fanbase goes into a game without any doubt or fear. People who are knowledgeable and have been at this for awhile know that anything could happen in a game like this. That being said, this is Dooley's 28th game as head coach and he's only lost one game to a team of lesser talent. We are a more talented team(finally), and I expect good things.

Rushing attack versus their rush defense. By far the best front seven faced thus far, I got a sick feeling that we won't be able to run the ball against Florida like the past seven years. Hopefully I am wrong though.

Running game, kicking game, bray throwing picks and defense. In that order. I was also nervous about these week 1 as well but they proved me wrong (minus the kicking game). Hopefully they will this week too!

Been getting these feelings myself. we can have all the skill players we want but if we can't be as tough as they are in the trenches it will be same old same old as much as I hate it

No. Not at all. The general fear expressed by other Vol fans sucks though. We don't need miracles or have to play a perfect game. We have a good team. Nothing to worry about. Does not mean we will win but I am confident we have a great chance.

My confidence is real high.I just dont see away we lose unless somthing crazy happens like 5 ints from bray or a injury to bray.Fl secondary is the weak spot of their D so how can they stop our passing attack?I even think there is a good chance it could be a blowout.I could be wrong but thats how i feel.
