Found them while searching for a job in coaching myself. I never thought a division 1-A team would post a job on the net.

You know what, I might just apply for that job myself.

All NCAA teams are required to do this I'm pretty sure. I know Clemson had the head coaching position on there.

Check out my cover letter

You might ask yourself, why is a kid who hasn't even enrolled in college yet applying for a job among the most sought after in college football. I'll tell ya why, I think I'm the most qualified out of anyone. My resume might be a bit thin, but that makes no difference to me. I came about this job on this board, and decided to apply for it. You might take it as a bit of a joke, but I'm for real. If you hire me, I promise you, I will the best assistant coach the Vols have ever seen. I came straight outta South-Doyle High School here in Knoxville, and played high school football under Coach Eric Hutchins. I might have not been the best player, but I tried my hardest every day I came in, and I will do that at UT.

Application done. Yep, I applied to be a coach at UT.

Career Objectives
I would love to be coaching for my home high school, South-Doyle High in Knoxville, TN, in about 10 years. Also, I would be willing to assist at Maryville HS, and my favorite high school program, De La Salle in California. I love the game of football, and I think I would make an excellent coach for any school that would hire me. Even though I am very young, I bring a love for the game that is unrivaled, not to mention a wide expanse of knowledge to any team I coach for.

you should really take your personal info out of your post. It has a way of getting found by the wrong people

No kidding . . . You really don't want your name, address, e-mail and phone number posted on here. I edited it out.

Thanks for editing that stuff out. I didn't realize about that until a few hours after I posted it.

Actually all public universities are required to post available jobs in an open forum. I've seen several schools post head coaching jobs online, and UT probably did as well, just nobody on the boards took note of it until now.

I am pretty sure that state jobs have to be posted for a certain amount of time before they can be filled.

If there were some sort of Mod of the year award I'd nominate you. Keep looking out for the little guy GA.
