Just saw that the entire women's basketball coaching staff at UNC has been placed on administrative leave. Wow! What is going on with that? Anyone know?

Players complained to the administration about the "culture" within the program.

Lord Sylvia Hatchell! What in the world? Been around forever, like C Viv forever, and had possibly the tackiest wardrobe in the history of WCBB. Mulky could only dream of owning Sylvia's jackets. On a serious note, I believe she survived some really scary health problems also.

Is it just me (and every Duke fan) who thinks UNC basketball should just be shut down for bit to reconsider their ethical choices?

It looks like Tennessee isn't showing the commitment moneywise and otherwise it takes to become a powerhouse in women's college basketball again. Tennessee may be looking for another women's head basketball coach in 5 years if this is true.

Hell... Go hire Hatchell. She'd be a HUGE step up coaching wise.

All this "culture" whining BS is from kids that grew up getting trophies for failure. NONE of them no what it means to WORK for anything! This generation is a waste.

I doubt CPHS would be able to coach today's pussified, whiny, bitches.

Why would they commit an abundance of money to a sport that does not generate its own revenue? Women’s basketball is not a money maker, so it doesn’t make sense to pour a lot of money into it.

I'm looking to see if there are any other candidates we would know if anyone else is contacted. I think he should at least interview four or five candidates even if they are all women. If it is Kelly then it will be her and her husband as an Assistant and two others unknown. I was hoping the next coach would keep Sharonna Reaves but that is looking bleak unless we go in another direction. If Kelly is hired look for an entire new staff. Kelly making 250 thousand if Phil offers her the job at 750 k I think she would walk to Knoxville to accept. Her husband is making 89 k as an Assistant could certainly get 175 k here so almost a million for the family quite a steep increase in salary. She also has Stiles who I think has been a head coach somewhere and a former player I am sure both of them will be begging to go from 75 k to 150 k in a week.

This is exactly the point already losing like 3 million why would up that to 8 million just to win lol cause to tell the truth they have to put on the appearance that they want to win but football generates the money and they want to have cash on hand for any needs that that program needs at anytime.
