Last year we scored 215 points through 10 games. This year we have scored 204 through 5 games.

Not a TN record but in 1916 Georgia Tech ran for 922 yards and 32 tds. I kinda doubt anyone beats that

That is a good question. Through 5 games UT has 1275 yds this year for a 5.31 ypc. Through 10 games last year the Vols had 1415 for a 3.77 ypc. UT is short 140 yds and should get that vs USCe.

Getting there. NCAA stats page says:
2020 - 375 rushes for 1415 yards. 3.77 yds/carry, 12 TDs, 141.5 ypg
2021 so far - 239 rushes for 1262 yards. 5.28 yds/carry, 15 TDs, 252.4 ypg

2019 might be a better comparison since last year was a 10 game all-SEC slate and 2019 had out of conference games.
2019 - 461 rushes for 1874 yards. 4.07 yds/carry, 13 TDs, 144.2 ypg

Looking better this year any way you slice it, really.

We totalled 1678 rushing yards in 2020. We have 1363 rushing yards in 2021.

• 62-24: Tennessee erupted for 683 yards of total offense and dominated Missouri, 62-24, in Columbia last Saturday to give Josh Heupel his first SEC win as a head coach. The Vols rushed for 458 yards, representing the most rushing yards in a road game in school history, the third-most rushing yards in a game overall and the most overall since rushing for 513 yards against Washington & Lee on Nov. 10, 1951. RB Tiyon Evans led the way with 156 yards on 13 carries and three TDs. His 92-yard rush in the first quarter was the third-longest rush in UT history and the third-longest rush by an FBS player this season. Defensively, LB Aaron Beasley led the way with a career-best eight tackles and 1.5 for loss. QB Hendon Hooker accounted for 305 yards of total offense and four touchdowns.
