Anyone know if we’re poking around on Cooper Witten…

[brockytop]

or any other Oklahoma recruits? They have a bunch of top 200 kids committed but I’m not sure Venables will last through the season even though he was given an extension a couple of months ago. Those folks aren’t going to condone a 6-6 or 5-7 season, especially if Texas waxes their asses next week.

They have a new AD and his rear is already on a hot stove. The baseball NC won’t save him or Venables.

I'd rather be tracking what Sophomores and Juniors they have that can ball.

Well, Cooper's dad is coaching at OU at this time. But of course that can change from one year to the next.

They’ll probably somehow beat Texas. Watch.

[LA vol7]

I hope they do beat Texas!

Texas is beatable and they hate them. They have to find something at the QB position that is the opposite of what Mateer has given them.

Mateer has been awful, but he's shown flashes of brilliance. Improbable, but he's capable of righting that Sooner Schooner & beating the 'Horns.

Agree...and if we don't post well tomorrow, we'll have our own situation to be worried about. If we can run the ball, we'll be fine...if not, am not overly confident.

True.

If he would just stop trying to play hero ball and make the smart easy plays he’d be alright.
