Anyone gonna be in Providence tomorrow?

I would love to be there, but what would I do for the rest of the weekend in Providence, RI if we lost on the first day?

Providence is pretty far and not an enticing location, so I am not expecting a big Vol turnout

I came very close to packing the vehicle and heading out today but the idea of a 910 mile drive, one-way stopped me.

I hope the Vols some how have a great turn out...it always makes me feel a little guilty that I want the players to play so hard and with so much heart yet I barely put in the effort to get out and support them in person.

Don't. Until they start going hard everyday like they should, I would advise people to save their money for now.

I will probably head out Saturday if they win Thursday, a 9:55 start combined with a 90 minute drive home at work around 5:30am kind of kills Thursday for me.

If the team doesn't show up for this, three seniors will say goodbye to college basketball forever. When will the road end for Chism, Maze, and Prince? Hopefully, not soon. We can only hope that the team does not squander an opportunity to move on to the next round...and the next, and the next, etc...'til the nets come down!

I am thinking it is going to be a small UT turnout, and then Bobby Maze will blame the small fan turnout for the loss.

When I become a sports journalist, other than the World Cup, and Game 7 of the World Series, the tourney is what I want to attend.

I've had the chance to go to the first two rounds in '08 and the game against Winthrop in '06. I think there is nothing better in sports than the NCAA tourney. Incredible atmosphere.

From what I have read and heard, there is nothing in the world compared to the World Cup, especially in a final with soccer-crazed fans like France vs. Italy was in 2006.

Considering I'm 0-2 in tournament games with the vols I'm going to plan on sitting this one out

In all seriousness, I went to the tough loss last year to Oklahoma State in my hometown of Dayton, and then the Louisville blowout in Charlotte in the sweet 16 a couple years ago.
