Anyone else wake up this morning hoping to see a thread title “I’m hearing rumblings from the AD”?

Ain't gonna happen until the vol fans hit the streets! When are we doing it?

He’s going to back next season no matter what happens the rest of this year, but his ass better produce next year or there will be a change.

Problem with that is, he won't and Hugh Freeze will be unattainable

Cause I know I sure did, even if they were pretenders, it’d at least give me some false hope. I’ve decided false hope is better than no hope for my sanity.
Fulmer won’t do anything. If this happens it will come from higher up than the AD.

It doesn’t matter if the fan base wants a new coach. It isn’t going to happen because of money. We need to accept the fact that we aren’t good and won’t be good for a little while longer. I will always be a Vol fan and will root for them every Saturday!! Go Vols

Fulmer will have to start refunding basketball season ticket money this week and the donations that go with the right to purchase the seats at Thompson Boling, furthering the deeper dive into the red ink for UTAD, unfortunately, given Fulmer's grandiosity and mountain like ego, he has locked in an under performing football staff, fully unaccountable for their lackluster on the field product which is non competitive with many teams in the SEC and was embarrassed by a team coached by a first year coach in his sixth game of his SEC career.

The only thing sadder that this sideshow will be when Pruitt gets fired and wins the lottery on the back and pocketbooks of Tennessee fans, while Fulmer goes out and inks a deal with some other bargain basement up and comer, like we've done regularly.

Fulmer had no idea how much the conference had changed in 2008 and he still has a hard time realizing there is no Jim Donnan or Ray Goff at Georgia, no Mike Dubois or Mike Shula at Alabama, no Brad Scott or Granny Holtz at South Carolina, no Curley Hallman or Gerry Dinard at the helm of LSU, no Tommy West or Tommy Bowden at Clemson, the big schools in the South, particularly the SEC, have upgraded every aspect of their football programs, including their coaching talent, while Tennessee continues to overpay for unproven talent, becoming a school known for writing big checks rather than winning big games.

I was actually HOPING that Pruitt (Feeling the pressure too much) would announce his resignation; effective at the end of 2020. I REALLY WAS HOPING. The ship is no longer leaking oil. Broken up in the Atlantic. LOOK AT INDIANA! Look at UT.

There are rumblings in the AD office, you’re just not going to hear them in public.

I'm afraid it will be a year too late then. We will just repeat the same mistakes we've made for over a decade. We are Vandy with a fanbase.

I held this train of thought for a while, but after sleeping on it, I don't think it can wait till next season if the money is there to fire him. Waiting a year too late to fire a guy who is clearly in over his head will set us back even further. Recruiting will fall apart, ticket sales will suck, and we'll be right back where we were in 2017.

How are bowls even going to work this year, without anybody playing a full slate?
