Anyone concerned about attendance Saturday?

It is a history-making event. Our grandson will be attending his very first game at the age of almost 4. Can't wait to see his reaction to all the activities.

I think it will be a sellout and I think it will be LOUD. People seem energized about this staff and I think that will translate to the stands come Saturday. I am looking forward to the 5 1/2 hour drive.

Maybe concern is the wrong word, I will just be disappointed. I would simply love the recruits, namely Bray, to see a packed house. Going to be great either way but a packed house would look better than sme empty seats. That's all I am saying. Plus, if we look good, future games will sell out quicker.

I doubt Bray can tell the difference between 102,000 and 90,000.

It will be sold out. When people realize that they can go and get walk up tickets cheaper than the scalpers the sections will be full. I called the ticket office yesterday and got section B row 7. There are still BB and CC available which I think are some of the best seats in the house.

I had season tickets 2 years ago in SS and were the best seats I have ever had. My friend wanted me to sit with him in J row 4 and I told him no thanks

i hope its less than 100 thousand simply because its a disgrace to the way the students and long time season ticket holders have been treated. the university is gutting people in during the worst possible time with the economy and change of coaches. ITS RIDICULOUS!!!!

I'm sure there will be some tickets that don't get sold. I've been posting on my facebook all day that they have tickets left. Everyone else do the same and let everyone know... cause some fans might not know there are cheap tickets out there!!

GO VOLS!!!!!

I am excited to see what happens on the field but I think it sad for all this enthusiasm that has been displayed to be met with less than stellar attendance.

your kidding right,,, you are either 1. a student or 2. work for the government as you are missing out on the great depression we are having right now,,, double digit unemployment tends to make folks cut back when they are choosing between electricity and football games.

Why didn't UT cut ticket prices during this recession / depression like other businesses?
