Anybody Remember This???

Remember the Kentucky game at Lexington around 10 years ago or so? UK had a kid named Billy Jack Haskins....I thought he was going to single handedly beat us! That game just popped in my head.....I was so damned frustrated watching Billy Jack carve us up.

We was very fortunate to win that day. I do remember that guy big time.

He couldnt make a good high school team.....and he cut us up big time.

I was at that game. I later met Billy Jack at a party. He was actually a pretty small, unassuming looking guy.

Billy Jack was one tough hard nosed quarterback. They were replaying that game the other day on cable. I thought he got a raw deal at KY but it was Tim Couch waiting in the wings. Billy Jack is one I will always remember. He had a dislocated shoulder and still gave 200%. Wish our team had a quarter of his heart.

If Im not mistaken, didnt UK have Moe Williams on that team? He was the only legitimate football player the Cats had. They almost whipped a team loaded with NFL players......

That was back in '95 Peyton's So year. I was at the game and froze to death. Plus I dint know a thing about football. Was a long day. At least we won. KY is very cold that time of year.
