You think childish namecalling is meaningful? It is not. People can do with their money as they please.Just because some idiots are willing to pay a college player 4 million/year doesn't justify it. The president makes 400,000/year and his body guard makes around 190,000/year. Which of those 3 people are the least important in terms of relevance to our county? You get 3 guesses![]()
Ok! It's obvious to MOST people that that was a typo and was meant to say" Country". I usually rely on spell check to check my typing (which is poor), but since county is a word too,it did not highlight it. When I was in school, typing classes were overwhelmingly filled by girls to prepare for a potential secretarial position. Nobody had a computer back then. You think childish namecalling is meaningful? And "county"??? This isn't a county issue. It's a fan base issue, it's a state issue, it's a federal issue, it's a SEC issue, and it's a NCAA issue.
I don't need any guesses, because you're using a false premise.
Wrong again. First, "most people" is a false generalization . Classic logical fallacy. You don't have enough knowledge to speak for anyone but yourself here. That's an n=1 unreliable statistic.Ok! Regardless, I will never contribute to the NIL just so a college kid can live like a king( I'm talking about the instant millionaires) during his/her college career. They do deserve some money, but some of these deals are ludicrous. Too many other more worthy causes in my opinion. But that is just me, you are free to send your $$ to anyone you want..... as I am.![]()
Obviously, you have more time then I have for meaningless chatter on the internet!Wrong again. First, "most people" is a false generalization . Classic logical fallacy. You don't have enough knowledge to speak for anyone but yourself here. That's an n=1 unreliable statistic.
"When I was in school..." is another logical fallacy. That one is the Appeal to Antiquity.
It has no hearing in the current state of affairs.
What you will or won't contribute to NIL is meaningless. NIL funding isn't dependent on you.
You don't get to decide what other people's work is worth. The free market does that, and it's chugging along just fine without your $$.
Now let's apply your comments to YOU.
The money you get in salary or entitlements is ludicrous! Other people should have the right to control what you make, cut your income, and devalue your contributions accordingly.
If you don't agree to that, your position is nauseatingly hypocritical.
It's an adapt or die world. If you can't adapt or won't, guess what happens? Fortunately, the University of a Tennessee is one of the leaders in adapting.
