Anybody else hearing this? [Gruden announcement Friday?]

I had a friend text me tonight stating that several posters on another site (Scout) who he felt usually provide very reliable information had posted today/tonight that the deal with Gruden is done and that a decision would be announced Friday.

I haven't seen anything else on this and just wondering if anyone else has heard anything similar.

In contrast to that info, an article on TOS (Volquest) states TN is still in the process of interviewing candidates and the timeline is expected to be within the next week to 10 days.

Kind of hard getting conflicting pieces of information but that seems to be the norm at the moment.

Looked at the coaching search thread but didn't see anything on either of these rumors/articles so would love to hear from anyone who has heard anything either way.

Not sure if that rumor is true although it has been circulating for some time that November 30 might be a target date for press release.. It would be impeccable timing the day before SEC championship!!! Makes you wonder

I have heard many throw around that date. Not sure how strongly I feel about it but many have thrown that date around. We will see.

I think all the dates starting from 18th November (Dooley was fired) to about 17th of december have been mentioned as the potential dates for Gruden announcement.

Will believe it only when/if it happens
