I guess it doesn't hurt to bring top 50 guys in, but I always wonder if the time and resources are better spent on the 50-200 ranked guys.

He’s already said (paraphrasing) that 2 or 3 of his signees will likely be MLB Hall of Famers and he’s likely wasting time recruiting them.

I think he said 3-4 will be mlb players. One he hoped would meet Todd Helton because he believes he could be a hall of famer. Said it’s the only time he’s ever said that about a recruit. It was on sports talk last week. Great interview.

Thanks for clarifying. I read the interview transcript but obviously missed the finer details. That’s serious high praise as CTV isn’t prone to hyperbole.
