Any word on a players only meeting?

Under CBJ's time here, I'm recalling one instance where there was a players only meeting. That was during the Hurd incident. Just wondering if anyone is aware of a meeting that I might have missed during the past couple of weeks

Would hope some of the players organized one to light a spark. Need some leaders to step up

haven't heard anything, but that doesn't mean they haven't met...of course, most of them meet every day anyway...:)

I was told that a meeting of players was held, but that their was not enough feeling among them to hold a players only meeting to light a fire under themselves.

yes..Kendal Vickers had a team only meeting right after the UMASS game and went off on everyone..Saying they needed more passion, they needed to get better,and they need to take it personal...He would not go into any more details about it than that...GBO

Correct and kudos to Vickers for being a vocal leader. This is Kendal's last chance to win at UT. We need more players like Kendal bringing leadership to the team.

Hyams reporting that a certain rich daddy's boy ginger linebacker had said he would bring pizza for everyone.
When it arrived, it was Dominos and not the Peyton sponsored expected Papa Johns that the team prefers.
Pandemonium reigned.
What a turn of events.

The players only meeting was to vote Hurd off the team.

I will tell you what is happening here......a segment of our so-called fanbase, which no doubt includes a number of trolls, gets their kicks making fun of our coaches, team and program. The game is not their entertainment, they amuse and entertain themselves by making fun of, mocking and degrading the current program.
How miserable their lives must be.........

Nope, no trolling here. Honest inquiry. I would think that after the Florida loss and lack of "passion" for Umass , according to multiple players, someone on that team would have a come to Jesus meeting. There are seniors on this team and I'm guessing they're not ok letting that continue. Not miserable at all. Love the Vols, not happy with results but doesn't dictate my outlook on life

The main "players only" meeting I'm concerned about at this point is when only the GA players and the Vol players meet face to face in Neyland Stadium, eleven at a time, starting around 3:30 pm, and ending around 7:00 pm this Saturday. That meeting will determine a lot.

There was also a players-only meeting after the Arkansas loss in 2015

The rumor about Butch losing the locker room also seems off to me if there aren't reports of players only meeting(s)
